Please join us for UC Davis Asian Pacific American Law Students Association's (APALSA) 6th Annual Banquet! Enjoy dinner and drinks with your favorite King Hall professors and network with Sacramento judges and attorneys!

The APALSA banquet serves to promote public interest service, celebrate the achievements of graduating APALSA members, introduce the 2017-18 APALSA board, and bring together students, professors, and local practitioners. To promote this spirit, we plan to award up to $1,000 in grants to students pursuing public interest careers. Join students, professors, legal practitioners, and friends in celebrating at this event.

This year, the banquet will feature keynote speaker, Honorable Justice Goodwin Liu, Associate Justice of Supreme Court of California. Justice Liu was appointed by Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. on July 26, 2011. Before joining the state's highest court, Justice Liu was a Professor of Law at the UC Berkeley School of Law. He graduated from Yale Law School in 1998, becoming the first in his family to earn a law degree. He clerked for Judge David Tatel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Please join us! Community tickets are $50 and student tickets are $25.
