Defendant in Murder Case Acts as Own Attorney

Professor Emeritus John Poulos was quoted in the San Francisco Chronicle regarding the Contra Costa County murder case in which the defendant is also acting as her own attorney.

Poulos is a recognized expert in criminal and constitutional law. After a distinguished career as a criminal defense attorney, Poulos joined the Davis Law School faculty in 1969. His many accomplishments include serving as a legal advisor to the then-fledgling Afghani government in 1976 and 1977 and helping them write a constitution before the Soviet invasion.
