Dean Johnson takes part in BU School of Law symposium
On Feb. 28, Dean Kevin R. Johnson spoke at the “Racial Bias, Disparities and Oppression in the 1L Curriculum" symposium at Boston University School of Law. Conference participants examined how the first-year curriculum might better incorporate the perspectives of marginalized and oppressed groups.
Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law, and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
