Dean Johnson takes part in AALS webinar for law faculty candidates

Dean Kevin R. Johnson lent his expertise to a recent Association of American Law Schools Faculty Recruitment Services webinar series.

Johnson was part of an Aug. 19 webinar presented by the AALS Section on Minority Groups that focused on supporting candidates seeking law school faculty positions. Among Johnson’s fellow faculty experts on the panel was Rutgers Vice Dean Rose Cuison Villazor, formerly of UC Davis Law.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
