Dean Johnson to Take Part in Sen. Dodd's Town Hall on Police Reform, Racial Justice

Dean Kevin R. Johnson will take part in the Virtual Town Hall on Police Reform & Racial Justice presented by state Sen. Bill Dodd (D-Napa) at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16. 

The panel includes California Secretary of State Shirley Weber and Sen. Steven Bradford (D-Gardena), author of Senate Bill 2, California’s new law to increase accountability among police officers.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
