Dean Johnson Speaks on Immigration at U.S.-Mexico Bar Association Conference

Dean Kevin R. Johnson was part of panel exploring the impacts of immigration on Mexico and the United States during the "Cross Border Issues in the Evolving Global Economy" conference sponsored by the U.S.-Mexico Bar Association in San Diego November 11-13.  Entitled "U.S. Immigration Impact on Mexico -Reform? Protection? Residence?," the discussion included comments from Dean Johnson, Javiera Medina Reza of the Mexico City firm Basham, Ringe y Correa, and moderator Terry L. Weir of the Houston firm Dunbar Harder.

Kevin R. Johnson is dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o Studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
