Dean Johnson Speaks on Immigration Reform at CIIP Conference

Dean Kevin R. Johnson spoke on U.S. immigration reform proposals at the Comparative Immigration and Integration Program (CIIP) conference on "Population, Integration and Law: Implications for Immigration Policy" held in San Diego March 29-30.  CIIP, supported by the Center for German and European Studies, enables UC faculty and graduate students interested in comparative migration issues to discuss their research with colleagues in periodic seminars. Dean Johnson spoke with Philip Martin, a UC Davis professor of Agricultural & Resource Economics and chair of the UC Comparative Immigration & Integration Program, who organized the conference.

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
