Dean Johnson Speaks on Immigration in Campus Book Project Forum

Dean Kevin R. Johnson will participate in a discussion of "Identity Politics: Deconstructing Arizona's Immigration and Ethnic Studies Laws" set to take place as part of the 2010 UC Davis Campus Community Book Project.  Also on the panel will be Beverly Daniel Tatum, whose book Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? is the subject of this year's Book Project, and Kevin Williams, a teacher at Davis Senior High School.  The event will begin at 4 pm on December 10 at the Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts.

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
