Dean Johnson to speak at Boston University School of Law conference on 1L curriculum
Dean Kevin R. Johnson on Feb. 28 will be among the speakers at a symposium on “Racial Bias, Disparities and Oppression in the 1L Curriculum” at Boston University School of Law. The topic for his panel is “Race & Civil Procedure: Racial Disparities in Access to Civil Justice.”
He is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
