Dean Johnson to Receive Centro Legal Outstanding Achievement Award

Dean Kevin R. Johnson has been honored with the Centro Legal del la Raza Outstanding Achievements in the Law Award, the legal aid organization has announced. The honor recognizes Dean Johnson's continuing leadership and contributions to the Latino community. Dean Johnson has agreed to accept the award at Centro Legal's 46h Anniversary Gala on April 10 in Oakland.

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
