Dean Johnson Joins Southwestern Law Professor Meera Deo in Talk About Her Book

On Oct. 15, Dean Kevin R. Johnson joined Southwestern Law School Professor Meera E. Deo for a discussion, presented by Southwestern, about Deo’s book Unequal Profession: Race and Gender in Legal Academia.

Deo, a one-time visiting professor at King Hall, spoke as part of UC Davis Law’s Racial Justice Speaker Series in September.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
