Dean Johnson to Give Keynote Speech at La Raza Lawyers Scholarship Dinner

Dean Kevin R. Johnson will deliver the keynote speech at the La Raza Lawyers Association of Solano's 9th Annual Scholarship Dinner in Suisun on June 17.  Seven local students, Carlos V. Bejaramo, Cecelia Cadenas, Ivan Ruiz, and Frances Torres of Rio Vista High School, Alicia Hernandez and Elizabeth Martinez of Vallejo High School, and Iliana Santellan of Rodriguez High School, will be honored with scholarships at the dinner.

Kevin R. Johnson is dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o Studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
