Dean Johnson Featured in Legal Services of Northern California Newsletter

Dean Kevin R. Johnson is the subject of a Board Member Spotlight in the Fall 2014 Newsletter of Legal Services of Northern California (LSNC). Earlier this year, Dean Johnson was re-elected by the LSNC Board of Directors to serve as the public service law organization's president, a position he has held since 2003.

The feature includes a quote from LSNC Executive Director Gary Smith.  "Kevin not only is out front in providing guidance and leadership with respect to LSNC's ‘big picture'---our vision, mission and budget-- but he is always available for wise advice and counsel on innumerable smaller management issues as well," said Smith. "LSNC and its clients are deeply indebted to Kevin's outstanding leadership of our organization."

Kevin R. Johnson is Dean and Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and Chicana/o studies at UC Davis School of Law. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
