Dean Johnson to Emcee UC Davis Fall Convocation

UC Davis School of Law Dean Kevin R. Johnson will be the emcee for this year's UC Davis Fall Convocation, scheduled for Wednesday, September 23 at 10 A.M. in Jackson Hall at the Mondavi Center on the UC Davis campus.

The theme for this year's convocation is "UC Davis' Sustainable and Transformative Second Century."  The event will serve to introduce new UC Davis Chancellor Linda Katehi, and to welcome, inspire, and strengthen the sense of campus community.

Chancellor Katehi will be the keynote speaker.  Clare Hasler, executive director of the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science, will also offer remarks.  Academic Senate Chair Bob Powell will offer a faculty welcome.  The event will also feature musical performances by the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra, University Chorus, and Cal Aggie Marching Band-uh!
