Dean Johnson Comments for Bloomberg BNA on Ninth Circuit Immigration Ruling
Dean Kevin R. Johnson commented for Bloomberg BNA on a recent ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit holding the Board of Immigration Appeals interpretation of "obstruction of justice" to be unconstitutionally vague.
Dean Johnson said that the Ninth Circuit majority has "a very solid argument" to support its contention that the BIA's interpretation is overly broad. "It gives you the sense they're trying to rig the game to deport anybody they can who's got a criminal conviction," Dean Johnson said.
