Dean Johnson Comments on Ariz. Immigration Law for ‘Mad in the Middle'
Dean Kevin R. Johnson discussed Arizona's controversial new immigration law on "Mad in the Middle," a news podcast produced by Blog Talk and hosted by Gary Anthony Ramsay.
Asked whether the state law will stand up to a constitutional challenge, Dean Johnson said, "It's very clear that this law is going to be struck down as unconstitutional. It's just a matter of time and in which lawsuit the law will be struck down."
Dean Johnson also commented on the need for immigration reform at the federal level, as well as the need to spur economic development and bolster government stability in Mexico as being vital to addressing the nation's immigration problems in the long term.
