Dean Johnson Attends SABA Diversity Law Student Reception
Dean Kevin R. Johnson attended the Diversity Law Student Reception, organized by the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) of Sacramento, and held at the Davis home of King Hall alumna Shama Mesiwala '98 on September 19.
The SABA reception offered the many King Hall students in attendance an opportunity to meet and mingle local legal professionals including Professors Andrea Bjorklund (and her husband, Sean Duggan) and Rachana Shah. Also in attendance were Judge Morrison England, Jr., of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California, Sacramento County Superior Court Judge Elena J. Duarte, and Presiding Justice Arthur G. Scotland of the California Courts of Appeal, Third Appellate District.
SABA of Sacramento was formed in early 2008. It is the 25th chapter of the national SABA organization, and includes lawyers from the greater Sacramento region including Davis and Yuba City.
