Dean Johnson on ABA committee seeking accreditation/legal education managing director

Dean Kevin R. Johnson has been named to a search committee seeking a new managing director of Accreditation and Legal Education for the American Bar Association’s Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar.

The section’s current managing director, Barry Currier, has announced that he will leave his position in the summer of 2020.

From 2017-18, Johnson served on the ABA’s Accreditation Committee.

Kevin R. Johnson is the law school’s dean, Mabie-Apallas Professor of Public Interest Law and professor of Chicana/o studies at UC Davis. He is an internationally recognized scholar in the fields of immigration law and policy, refugee law, and civil rights.
