Cooper '98 Interviewed on Immigration and Colombian Drug War
Professor Holly Cooper '98 of the law school's Immigration Clinic was interviewed on KPIX-TV, Channel 5 (CBS) about the immigration case of a Colombian woman who says she will be in danger if she is deported. In the interview, Cooper explained that the woman gave valuable information about the Colombian drug cartel after being arrested for drug possession when she entered the United States. "She's basically a marked woman in Colombia," Cooper said. "Her deportation is a death sentence."
