CILC to Co-sponsor Women and International Criminal Law' Conference

The California International law Center at King Hall (CILC) is a proud co-sponsor of "Women and International Criminal Law," a conference at Tillar House at the American Society of International Law in Washington, D.C. on Friday, October 29.

The conference will feature a roundtable discussion of papers for a special edition of the International Criminal Law Review to be edited by legal scholars including CILC Director Diane Marie Amann.  Amann will present her paper, "Cecelia Goetz, Woman at Nuremberg."

The edition and roundtable are dedicated to the Honorable Patricia M. Wald, former Chief Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Judge on the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.   Judge Wald will be among the speakers at the conference.

The conference is presented by the American Society of International Law, CILC, Santa Clara University School of Law, Temple University Beasley School of Law, and IntLawGrrls Blog. 

Diane Marie Amann is a Professor of Law and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Hall Research Scholar, and Director, California International Law Center at King Hall, UC Davis School of Law.
