Cheryl Wei '11 Named One of Daily Journal's 'Top 40 Under 40'

The Daily Journal has recognized Cheryl Wei ’11 as one of its “Top 40 Under 40” for 2024.

A partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP in Los Angeles, Wei focuses on entertainment law. She often has worked as production counsel, including for HBO’s “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.”

As production counsel, “you basically do everything day-to-day to help a show get made, from actor, writer, director and producer agreements down to arrangements with vendors and locations," Wei told the Journal.

As the Journal article mentions, Wei was editor of the UC Davis Law Review and was selected to the Order of the Coif while at King Hall.
