Adjunct Professor George Demos Writes Piece on Madoff Case for The Hill

After the death of Bernie Madoff in prison in mid-April, George G. Demos, adjunct professor at UC Davis Law, discussed the lessons of the Madoff case in an op-ed piece published April 17 by The Hill. Read the article.

Demos formerly served as an enforcement attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He was part of the team that, after Madoff's December 2008 arrest, meticulously combed through Madoff's decades of falsified records.

George Demos is a partner at DLA Piper LLP where his practice focuses on securities enforcement, white collar criminal defense, and corporate investigations. He has taught at King Hall since 2016.
