Mortimer D. Schwartz, Founding Law Library Director and Professor of Law, passed away on September 10 (1922-2016)

The Mabie Law Library is sad to note the passing of Mortimer D. Schwartz (1922-2016). Mort, as fondly known to colleagues, was Director of the Law Library and Professor of Law at the School of Law of the University of California at Davis from 1965 to 1991. Mort's obituary was written by his long time friend and colleague Ed Rabin, Professor of Law Emeritus, also of the UC Davis School of Law.
