Collection Highlights - Manuscripts

Our latest Collection Highlights are on display in the glass case in the library lobby; they are two manuscripts dating from 1892 and 1878.

The two manuscripts on display are a spouses affidavit* in support of an accounting for an intestate estate dated August 1st, 1892 , for use as evidence in court (pictured on the left) and a legal indenture of a postnuptial settlement dated July 26, 1878 (pictured on the right).

These items are part of a collection of manuscripts donated to the Mabie Law Library by Robert Powers. They are housed with our Rare Book Collection.
