Are you using CEB? You should!

Did you know that there is an entire legal research platform created by the University of California? Called CEB (Continuing Education for the Bar), it contains a variety of practice materials for California legal practitioners. You will find materials on California criminal law, estate planning, workers’ compensation, landlord/tenant practice, family law, real property transactions, and civil litigation. Materials may include analysis and commentary along with transactional or litigation forms and model documents. CEB often fills in the “gaps” left by the major publishers (such as Matthew Bender or the Rutter Group) such as child custody issues, domestic violence, neighbor disputes, etc. You can locate CEB on our website by navigating to our list of databases. After graduation, you can speak with a law librarian about how to access CEB while in practice. You should receive 18 months of complimentary access.
