Please join us for a conversation with Alfred (“Fred”) Boll, a former Delegate and Legal Adviser for the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and a former Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Boll will talk about his international legal career, the role of the ICRC, and current challenges facing the legal regime governing the conduct of armed conflict. He will also speak about how being a lawyer can inform work in the U.S. Foreign Service, and current challenges at the Department of State.
