Emerging Issues in International Humanitarian Law
The UC Davis School of Law’s Journal of International Law and Policy and California International Law Center (CILC) present Emerging Issues in International Humanitarian Law. Keynote speaker and distinguished King Hall alumnus, Dr. Gary Solis '71, will critically examine the relevance and efficacy of the law of armed conflict. The roundtable discussions, including academics, experts, and practitioners of international law, will discuss relational barriers to conflict resolution, examine the U.S. government’s role in mediating conflicts, and address armed conflict and forced displacement, among other pressing issues in international law.
