Please join Jeff Cohen for a King Hall event where he will discuss his transition from child actor (he played “Chunk” in the beloved 1985 movie The Goonies) to law school and a successful career as an entertainment lawyer representing Oscar-winning actors and directors.
Cohen will be in conversation with Carla Meyer, UC Davis Law Marketing & Communications Senior Editor and former Sacramento Bee movie critic. An audience Q&A will follow.

He received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law with an emphasis in business law and his undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. While at UC Berkeley, Cohen served as president of the Associated Students of the University of California.
His book The Dealmaker's Ten Commandments was published by the American Bar Association in 2015. Cohen has been named by Variety to both its “Dealmaker’s Impact” and “Legal Impact” lists. Additionally, he was named to The Hollywood Reporter’s “Power Lawyer” list.
