The internationally acclaimed Chief Justice of the Yurok Tribal Court, Hon. Abby Abinanti was the first Native American student to enroll at King Hall and the first Native American woman to be admitted to the California bar. After serving as a San Francisco Superior Court Commissioner for almost twenty years, she returned home to the Yurok reservation to build a Tribal Court that has won global recognition for its restorative justice successes.

Join us for this inaugural event in the Judge Abby Speaker Series, featuring a panel of distinguished jurists and scholars honoring a pioneer whose career has transformed the landscape of tribal justice.
