Welcoming Judges from Sri Lanka

There is always something new and exciting going on at UC Davis.  This week, we held an educational program for a group of distinguished justices and judges from Sri Lanka, including the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.

I had the honor of welcoming the group of jurists to UC Davis.  Over the week, a number of professors, including Cruz Reynoso, Alan Brownstein, Ashutosh Bhagwat, Carlton Larson, Peter Lee, Anupam Chander, and others, will be lecturing in a wide variety of topics under American Law.

The group will be visiting San Francisco, where they will meet with the Chief Justice of California, Tani Cantil-Sakauye '84, and Associate Justice Tino Cuellar, a dear friend of King Hall.

The visit ends with a Saturday in the beautiful Napa Valley.
