The Hopkins Reception is an annual celebration, named in memory of Patrick J. Hopkins. This event recognizes the leadership of the graduating Editors of Volume 57 and welcomes the newly elected Editors of Volume 58. The Reception serves as a wonderful opportunity not only to celebrate the end of another successful volume of the Law Review, but also as a way to reflect on the ways Law Review contributes to the legal community. Law Review publishes five issues per volume, comprising seven to ten articles per issue on a broad variety of timely legal topics.

Each year, a keynote speaker is invited to share how Law Review has impacted their legal career. This year, Errol Dauis '11 will be the Hopkins Reception keynote speaker. Dauis served as the Editor in Chief for the UC Davis Law Review, Volume 44. Dauis currently works at Boutin Jones and specializes in employment law. Dauis also serves as President of the King Hall Alumni Association Board.
