UC Davis vs. Cal Football Game
Last weekend, I went to the Bay Area to watch the UC Davis/University of California football game. It was a beautiful day and there were many UC Davis faithful in attendance. While departing the train, I ran into avid cyclist, and Chief Campus Council Mike Sweeney, as he was starting his ride up to Strawberry Canyon. Minutes later, I ran into UC Davis Law alum Lee Seale '01. The Aggie alumni BBQ at the UC Berkeley Alumni House was filled with Aggies.
At the game, I sat with Professor Emeritus John Oakley, who once was on the Cal football and rugby teams. And I caught up with former UC Davis Campus Counsel Steve Drown.
The teams put on a great show. The Aggies lost a close one but played a great game.
