UC Davis Native American Law Student Association

King Hall's LSA President Jason Wong shared the information below about reestablishing the chapter of the Native American Law Student Association at King Hall:
Do you identify as Native American or Indigenous? Would you like to be a part of a team for the promotion of Indigenous efforts within the law e.g. Land Back efforts, the Indian Child Welfare Act, land and water rights, Indian Gaming, Two Spirit and LGBTQ rights? Then please join the UC Davis Native American Law Student Association (NALSA). Even if you do not identify as either but are an ally and have an interest in Federal Indian Law or Indigenous issues please consider joining. All are welcome.
We are hoping to reestablish the chapter. We plan on hosting events and making Nationwide connections with National NALSA, attorneys, and judges. We also have an opportunity to participate in the National NALSA moot court competition and become part of a large community dedicated to the promotion of Native/Indigenous rights through law and policy.
If interested in joining please email Jo-Joe Lee, jdalee@ucdavis.edu
