Tribute to Cruz Reynoso at May Meeting of Inn of Court
The Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court began the May meeting with Judge Emily Vasquez offering a fitting tribute to our beloved colleague Cruz Reynoso. She told a touching story about Justice Reynoso speaking Spanish to her parents at her wedding. Judge Vasquez presided over the marriage of the Justice to his second wife, Elaine.
Justice Reynoso, who died May 7, was a lifetime member of the Inn of Court.
It was a special joint meeting of the Inn of Court with the Earl Warren Inn of Alameda County. King Hall alum Alice Cheng '10, also a King Hall Outreach Program alum, was in attendance. She practices family law and said that she was quite busy.
It also was a special evening, with fancy chocolates delivered to each member before the meeting. It helped us have an especially jovial time at the meeting.
