The Trials of Frank Carson

Last year at one of my virtual meetings with students, the topic of podcasts came up. I just listened to one that focuses on law, the practice of law, and a controversial case in the Central Valley. The Trials of Frank Carson ( The Trials of Frank Carson on Stitcher) is a Los Angeles Times production.

As described by the Times ( The Trials of Frank Carson on Stitcher):

"'The Trials of Frank Carson' is a story of power, politics and the law in California’s Central Valley. Frank Carson was Stanislaus County’s most controversial defense attorney, a wizard with juries and a courtroom brawler with an unapologetically caustic style. He racked up legal wins for decades. He was the terror of police and prosecutors, often accusing them personally of corruption."

I found the podcast a fascinating true crime story.
