Talking Law on the Capitol Mall
I visited Capitol Mall in Sacramento today, just a short ways away from the new downtown arena. Bruce Scheidt of the Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard firm asked me to visit and talk to King Hall alums and other firm attorneys about my favorite topic. I had lunch with many alums, including Rebecca Akroyd ’09, Constantine Baranoff ’00, William T. Chisum ’89, Errol C. Dauis ’11, Rebecca Harms ’15, and Susana Solano ’10.
I was able to let the group know about our outstanding entering class, incredible faculty, and many new programs at the law school. I also got some great feedback about what law schools can do to help make our graduates ready to enter the legal profession. We had a far-ranging and fascinating discussion of legal education and the practice of law. It made me think of being a lawyer again.
