South Asian Bar Association Diversity Law Student Reception

On Saturday, Judge Shama Mesiwala '98 held the 15th Annual Diversity Law Student Reception at her home. The event was hosted by the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) of Sacramento and sponsored by UC Davis Law.

Judge Mesiwala shared the wonderful message below after the event including a thank you to Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye '84.

"We are grateful to Chief Justice of California Tani Cantil-Sakauye and her spouse, Mark Sakauye, for attending and for her tireless advocacy for access to justice for 12 years as Chief Justice and for 38 years as a public servant.  She is truly irreplaceable.
