Seventh Annual Promoting Diversity in Law School Leadership Workshop

I had the pleasure this week of taking part in the Seventh Annual Promoting Diversity in Law School Leadership Workshop at Seattle University School of Law. We had some great panels on becoming a dean, the selection process, key first steps as dean, and issues of race, gender, sexual orientation and similar issues.

I moderated a panel on key first steps for a new dean with former UC Davis law professor Angela Onwuachi-Willig, now dean at Boston University School of Law.

The conference was amazing with a great group of law professors from diverse backgrounds thinking about deaning. The next generation sure looks great.
