Second Annual Eastern District of California Reception

UC Davis School of Law held its second annual Eastern District of California reception on March 13 at the Robert T. Matsui U.S. Courthouse to honor the federal judges in Sacramento. More than 65 people joined me at the event, including faculty members Clay Tanaka, Brian Soucek, Jack Chin, Shayak Sarkar, Menesh Patel, Karrigan Bork, Bob Miller, and “Cappy” White, students, and Judges William Shubb, Morrison England, Troy Nunley, Kimberly Mueller, John Mendez, Allison Claire, Dennis Cota '86, Deborah Barnes and others to celebrate our local federal judges.

Natalie Butcher from our Career Services office, along with Professor Tanaka and Judge Nunley, helped make this event a success. Over the years we have had a number student externs and law clerks work for the judges in the Eastern District of California.
