Professors address religion, reproductive freedom

As part of the Women’s Law Association’s culture week, Professor Meaghan O’Keefe of the UC Davis Religious Studies Department and King Hall’s Lisa Ikemoto discussed recent developments in religion and reproductive freedom during a well-attended lunch presentation this week. The discussion was rich and detailed, addressing various religious tenets on reproductive freedom as well as the leading Supreme Court cases in the field.

The two scholars covered an incredible amount of legal and religious terrain in an efficient hour. I was happy to have had the opportunity to attend.
