Professor Meera Deo's 'Unequal Profession' Book Launch

UC Davis School of Law hosting a wonderful event celebrating a new book by Visiting Professor Meera Deo entitled Unequal Profession: Race and Gender in Legal Academia. Stanford University Press published the book.

Professor Deo first outlined why she focused on race and gender in legal academia. She read a few passages from the book. Next, Professor Leticia Saucedo engaged in a conversation on the genesis of the book and her findings of inequality in legal education.

We had a great audience, including Professor Deo’s parents and in-laws, students from her civil procedure class, and many colleagues.
