Professor Elvy discusses 'The Internet of Things'

I had the pleasure of introducing Professor Stacy-Ann Elvy's presentation as part of the Aoki Center on Race and Nation Studies speaker series. A graduate of Cornell and Harvard Law School, Professor Elvy discussed her upcoming book,  The Internet of Things: The Future of Commercial Law and Privacy  (Cambridge University Press). It focuses on the privacy issues implicated by data collection in the era of the internet. 

Professor Elvy is a true treasure. Besides being a scholar of renown, she is an excellent teacher, with an amazing reputation among her first-year Civil Procedure students.
