Assistant Dean of Career of Services, Craig Compton, and Assistant Director of Admissions, Alexis Elston, made a successful trip down to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Feb. 27.  They met with approximately 25 engineering students interested in intellectual property careers.

Dean Compton, who worked as a patent litigator for ten years before joining UC Davis School of Law, discussed his career and how he has helped a number of students secure intellectual property positions with leading firms and companies.

UC Davis provides students interested in Intellectual Property a wide range of class offerings from its leading intellectual property faculty members, an Intellectual Property Certificate for those who focus their studies in the discipline, and access to incredible job opportunities in the field.

Dean Compton and Alexis also had the opportunity to meet with some students that have been admitted to the class of 2022.

It was an enthusiastic group of students with great questions.  We hope to welcome many of them to King Hall in the future!
