Tribal Justice Project Discussion
The Native American Law Students Association (NALSA) continued its Culture Week with a discussion of the Tribal Justice Project. An expert in federal Indian law, Professor Katherine Florey kicked off the event.
The event featured Governor’s Office of Tribal Affairs Secretary Christina Snider-Ashtari and Deputy Tribal Affairs Secretary and Special Counsel Loretta Miranda.
The Governor's Office of Tribal Affairs is a part of Gov. Gavin Newsom's administration. Its role is to oversee and facilitate productive government-to-government consultations between the administration and California tribes.
