Luis Céspedes speaks to joint meeting of Inns of Court

The Schwartz/Levi Inn of Court this week had a joint online meeting with the Justice Anthony Kennedy Inn of Court. The Kennedy Inn was introduced by Judge Larry Brown '89, a King Hall alum and professor. U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit Judge Connie Callahan, a Kennedy Inn member, was in attendance.

The special attraction for the evening was Luis Céspedes, Governor Newsom’s Judicial Appointments Secretary, who also is a Schwartz:/Levi Inn member. Céspedes took a series of questions from members of the Inns.

Céspedes has been a civil rights lawyer since 1982. He recently gave a talk to the UC Davis School of Law community.

The Inn, once again, had a wonderful event.
