La Raza Law Students Association’s Culture Week
This week, Administrative Law Judge Alberto Rosas spoke at UC Davis School of Law as part of La Raza Law Students Association’s Culture Week. See Judge Rosas with law student Tania Montoya-Block '21, above.
Judge Rosas talked about lessons to be learned from movies of the 1980s. He started with how law students need a plan like Tony Montana (Al Pacino) in the crime classic "Scarface." The famous movie "The Verdict" with Paul Newman was featured as illustrating the importance of passion in the law. Both movies are among my favorites. Needless to say, I enjoyed Judge Rosas’ presentation. And the students did too!!
