King Hall alums at the Cal game

I had a pleasant surprise at the Cal/USC football game last week. UC Davis School of Law alums Greg Gonzalez '18 and Lauren Iwasaki '19 were sitting behind me. Now a lawyer at a political law firm in Marin County, Greg donned a bright maroon SC hat, explaining that his father was a Trojan alum. Iwasaki, a corporate associate at Kirkland & Ellis, learned on Friday that she passed the bar exam.  During the game, a seat mate asked Lauren if she knew another student, Will Fogarty '19, who turned out to be from her first-year section

Craig Stevenson '71 was at the game too.  He has Cal season football tickets next to me. There really are King Hall people everywhere.  Before the game, I ran into former Law Student Association President Alistair Shaw ’17 at an iconic Berkeley hangout, Kip’s.
