This weekend, I had the privilege of talking with the students in the King Hall Outreach Program. ( See photo above.)  KHOP is a law school pipeline program for undergraduates who are first-generation college students or from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This year's class was amazing, with students from across the country participating through Zoom. Students are from Brown, Johns Hopkins, Oberlin, SMU, Sacramento State, San Jose State, several UC campuses, Florida State, and many other schools.

I talked about my journey to college and law school and ultimately to UC Davis. The students had many great questions about my law school experiences at Harvard, the law school application process and the study of law.

KHOP reminds me that the future looks bright for law schools and the legal profession.
