Journal of International Law and Policy Symposium

Last week, the UC Davis Journal of International Law and Policy held its annual symposium. The conference was entitled "Justice in Conflict and the Role of International Law." Professor Irene Joe welcomed the attendees. 

The panels focused on social justice in the international sphere, the U.S. role in international conflicts, and the future of international law. Speakers included Professors Diane Marie Amann (Georgia), Wadie Said (South Carolina; University of Colorado designate; visitor UC Davis fall 2022), Chimène Keitner (UC San Francisco School of Law; UC Davis designate, fall 2023), Luke Fadem (UC Davis), Eric Fersht (UC Davis) and others. 

It is wonderful to see our in-person events bring people and dialogue to the rooms and halls of King Hall.
