Immigration and Nationality Law Review event focuses on migrant children detentions

Last week, the Immigration and Nationality Law Review held a panel discussion on the incredible advocacy of Holly Cooper and the UC Davis Immigration Law Clinic in litigation challenging the Trump administration’s detention of migrant children. Professor Cooper discussed the efforts to protect migrant children. Professor Jack Chin, a renowned immigration, criminal, and civil rights scholar also discussed the issues. Sean Riordan, senior staff attorney for the ACLU of Northern California, discussed various legal challenges to the administration’s immigration detention policies.
